Day and Night blinds are a perfect combination of the sleek and contemporary look of a roller blind married with the flexible privacy and light control of a Venetian blind.

Day and Night blinds (also known as vision blinds) are made with double fabric, the fabric itself features alternating translucent and opaque (or blackout) stripes. The transparent (voile) stripes soften daylight and protect from glare, whilst the dimout or blackout stripes (depending on the option you choose) offer privacy and light exclusion.

The innovative design allows the stripes to glide between each other, giving an open or closed effect. Day and Night blinds let you control the light while maintaining the view.

Blackout Day and Night Blinds

If you’re fitting your blind in a room where privacy is as important as the light flexibility, for example, a bedroom, playroom, living room or a kitchen, choose Blackout Day and Night blinds.

Blackout Day and Night Blinds feature translucent and blackout horizontal stripes, meaning when your blind is fully lowered and the stripes are lined up blackout to blackout, you get maximum privacy and light exclusion.

How Day and Night Blinds work?

Day and Night blinds operate the same way as standard roller blinds. You can choose the level you want your blind to be raised to using a chain. Plus, you can adjust the horizontal stripes depending on the amount of light and privacy you need.

The half-transparent, half opaque (or blackout, depending on the option you choose) fabric is folded in two; each side of the blind slide past each other. You can line up opaque to opaque (or blackout) stripes to achieve maximum privacy and light exclusion or line up translucent to translucent stripes and let the light in without fully exposing your window.

Just the same as standard roller blinds, you can fully raise your blind to let the maximum light in.
